Taypikala Hotel Cusco

This nicely situated hotel is located a short trek from the center of the city. The hotel is innservative, clean, and comfortable with a nice pool, buffet, and bar. This hotel does not offer an on-site restaurant, so you will need to make arrangements for your meals, but you are within an easy bike ride of a number of different restaurants and cafes.

The hotel has a small gym that is well equipped, but no tennis courts. Founded in 2009, Taypikala Hotel offers a free shuttle bus option that will take you to and from the airport in Cusco.

The hotel offers a range of nice rooms, including bungalows, suites, deluxe rooms, and standard rooms. The hotel also has free Wi-Fi and gives free in-room movies on a daily basis.

If you’re traveling with children, the hotel offers a kid’s club with fun activities and games.

If you’ve never been to Cusco, the hotel has great recommendations on tours and activities.

Taypikala Hotel has a spa complete with a sauna, steam room, and gym.

Novotel Cusco

Located in the city center, Novotel Cusco features a fitness centre, a nightclub and a restaurant. The hotel is located along the banks of the Sacsayhuamán Ruins and offers lake and mountain views.

It offers a 24-hour reception, as well as free WiFi internet access and a tour desk. The hotel also offers room and laundry services, as well as a car park.

Tambo del Arriero Hotel Boutique

The Tambo del Arriero Hotel Boutique is a charming place to stay in Cusco. Located in the historic district, they provide beautiful suites with a combination of authentic hand woven walls, stylish fixtures and modern conveniences at a reasonable price.

This hotel has many features that really stand out to me including their room design, customer service, and central location.

I highly recommend the Tambo del Arriero Hotel Boutique.

The Beautiful Rooms

This hotel has a mix of the lush, traditional, African habitat and bright, contemporary suites. It's a beautiful blend in my opinion that creates a warm, almost uniquely Cusco vibe.

Some units are outfitted with South American style furniture, with thick, lush fabrics and felt art. Other units come in a neutral, modern style. All of the rooms come equipped with air conditioning, cable television with cable channels in English, private bathrooms, and a refrigerator.

Outfitted with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and modern amenities, the rooms here really make the trip a lot better. They're spacious, elegant and very well designed.

The Customer Service

The service here is exceptional and really stands out to me. The staff is professional, thoughtful, and eager to help you out through any issues or questions you may have.

Sonesta Hotel Cusco

The hotel is located on Jirón Pizarro in the center of the old town and has absolutely incredible views of the Plaza de Armas glistening in the afternoon sun. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have beautiful colonial décor, making Sonesta Cusco a fantastic hotel choice for staying in Cusco.

The hotel is great, but the location really makes it a winner. Everywhere you would want to be is within walking distance, from the Plaza de Armas to the Tunia market and various churches, just to name a few. This being said, this is only one hotel in a much bigger complex. There are a myriad of restaurants and shops inside it and around it as well, including a jewelry store, a bakery, and an extensive art gallery. There is also a rooftop bar with spectacular views.

If you prefer being surrounded by nature, the hotel also has a couple of walking trails on the property, many of which lead to ruins of Incan constructions.
