Pilgrimage Village

Up to this time, everyone was sitting on the sofa or lying down in a bed. This time we did something new. We decided to take a rest only on the roof.

We just sat there quietly and occasionally looked down at the ground far below. We could look back at our beautiful guesthouse in the valley, where all the activity was taking place. The sea of white clouds and the blue sky provided a backdrop. The valley was green and beautiful, with small streams running through it.

We were getting close to a mountain nearby, so we got out on the roof for a bit for more action. This view from the sky was absolutely breathtaking. There were mountains forever and mountains in the clouds. A few of us went back inside the building and came back down to look down again and take some pictures.

This was going to be one of the most unique activities we had on this trip.

We were down by the pool at the Pilgrimage Village Resort and seeing both of the pools was very intriguing. It was night, so we decided we would go for one of the best showings of the sun’s transit across the sky. A great sunsets always get lots of attention when you are in the tourism business.

To get to the other pool, we had to cross the lobby. We all stood at the doors, watching the sun sinking slowly into the hillside.
